[Victoria Falls]
Livingstone first saw the falls in November 1855. He named them after Queen

Victoria. They already had a local name, Mosioatunya. He was inspired to write:
‘No-one can imagine the beauty of the view from anything witnessed in England…
scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight.’
